Why an IPv6 Archive?

Tired of recompiling by hand the ssh package every time a new version came out, I spent some time writing a small autobuilder so that the upgrade to use OpenSSH v6 would be less of a pain for everyone.

Well, other people liked the idea of a central repository for IPv6 enabled packages, so now there are also other pkgs on the way! Keep updating! I'm very glad that I'm getting a very good response from you all.

How do I use it?

The entire archive is fully apt-getable. Please look at the mirrors section to find which one can fit you better.

How does it work

The archive contains two different kind of packages. Packages that have IPv6 support in the main stream (but disabled by the Debian mantainer) and packages that require patches to provide IPv6 support. In the first case my archive will automatically update this packages every time a new version is entering the main Debian archive. If you are aware of such kind of packages that are not included in my archive please don't hesitate to inform me and I will add them immediatly. In the second case automatic updates are avoided. Developers can upload these packages to my server and I will add them to the archive. For more information please check the developers section
